The Mirror or Reflex lens is one of special purpose lenses. This lens is compact and causes the out of focus highlights (bokeh) to be annular, doughnut shaped rings of light. The Minolta’s RF 250mm f/5.6 is one of the most popular Reflex lens as it products beautiful bokeh and very nice color. But some disadvantages are fixed aperture (cannot be stopped down beyond its built-in f/5.6 setting) and it is manual focus lens for Minolta’s MD mount only. To use this lens with DSLR camera you need to change lens mount and to achieve accurate focus (manually only) without eyeglasses, simply adjust the diopter to suit your eyesight by turning the dioptric adjustment knob left or right so that the AF points in the viewfinder look sharp. If you are lucky you may find this lens on ebay.

เลนส์ Mirror หรือ Reflex ถือเป็นเลนส์ชนิดพิเศษ ถูกออกแบบให้แสงหักเหอยู่ภายในกระบอกเลนส์จึงทำให้มีขนาดเล็กกระทัดรัดเมื่อเทียบกับเลนส์่ทั่วไปที่มีทางยาวโฟกัสที่เท่ากัน เลนส์ Minolta RF 250mm f/5.6 เป็นเลนส์ Reflex หรือเลนส์ Mirror ที่ได้รับความนิยมมาก นอกจากให้สีสันของภาพที่สดใสและนุ่มนวลแล้วยังทำให้บริเวณที่ out focus เกิดเป็นวงแหวนทรงกลมที่เรียกว่า doughnut shaped ring ซึ่งเป็นลักษณะพิเศษของเลนส์ Reflex แต่เลนส์ชนิดนี้ ก็มีข้อเสียคือ ไม่สามารถปรับขนาดช่องรับแสงได้ และส่วนใหญ่เป็นเลนส์แมนนวลโฟกัส เนื่องจากเป็นเลนส์รุ่นเก่า(จะหาได้ใน ebay) เมื่อนำมาใช้กับกล้องสมัยใหม่ก็ต้องแปลงเมาท์ของเลนส์ให้เข้ากันยี่ห้อกล้องที่ตัวเองใช้ ทำให้ต้องโฟกัสแบบแมนนวล ซึ่งผู้ใช้จะต้องปรับสายตาตัวเองให้พอดีกับกล้อง (ในกรณีที่ไม่ใส่แว่นสายตา) เพื่อจะได้โฟกัสได้ตรงกับที่กล้องเห็น
